Kia Towbars Fitting
0Following the Hyundai Motor Company, Kia is the second largest automobile manufacturer in South Korea, the company was founded back in 1944 and was originally in the business of producing steel tubing and bicycle parts under the name Kyungsung Precision Industry. Under them, the first domestic bicycle, the Samchully, was produced back in 1951. The company then changed to Kia in 1952.
Today, it is headquartered in Seoul, Korea, and is 33.88% minority owned by the Hyundai Motor Company while being a minority owner, from 4.9% to 45.37%, of more than twenty Hyundai subsidiaries. In 2016, Kia ranked number one in model reliability in the US by J.D. Power and Associates.
Kia is affiliated or is a subsidiary of a number of companies, including the Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors Corporation, and Kia Motors America, Europe, and Mexico. Kia Motors has also worked on military vehicles and other transportation equipment, under Kia Defense. It was assigned by the South Korean government as a sole manufacturer of military vehicles back when Kia Heavy Industry Co., Ltd was established in 1976.
When it comes to design, Kia has been criticised for being expressionless and neutral. After Peter Schreyer’s hiring back in 2006, Kia aimed for giving their automobiles a familiar face with design standing as its core future growth engine. Since 2013, Kia has won the International Car of the Year.
