0Tata Motors Limited is an automobile manufacturing company based in Mumbai, India. The company is a subsidiary of the Tata Group and founded in 1945. Due to the versatility and quality productions they are known for, it has an affiliation with Marcopolo and Hitachi to produce Tata Marcopolo (buses) and Tata Hitachi (construction machinery) respectively.
Tata motors manufactured its first commercial vehicle with Daimler-Benz AG in 1954, becoming a major break through as the first Indian manufacturer to develop high class vehicles within its local. They introduced the world’s most affordable car (Tata Nano) in 2008 after launching their first passenger car in India. In 2004, Tata Motors bought over Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company and in 2008, acquired Jaguar Land Rover. In 2016, Tata Motors won the world’s largest Corporation.
