Toyota Motor Corporation was founded by Toyoda family of Japan. The word Toyoda uses ten Japanese stokes while Toyota uses eight. Eight is considered a lucky number in Japanese culture. For these reasons ‘Toyota’ was considered and chosen as the family name. Toyota is one of the best and popular automobile brands from Japan.

The company started by documentation, by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937, owned prominently by Toyota industries, Nippon life and Denso, has produced 16,985,870 (sixteen million, nine hundred and eighty-five thousand, eight hundred and seventy units) of various brands of its automobiles between 1937 and 2015, is in the world a leading export brand to the world, a leading automobile.

It produces both luxury and automobile vehicles. Toyota headquarter is in Toyota Aichi, Japan. Some of its luxury brands include the Rolls Royce phantom IV and the land cruiser. Its vehicle types include the coupe, the sedan, convertible, and the hatchback station wagon. Also producing crossovers, mini-vans, and sport utility vehicles.

Through the years Toyota has established many branches across the world, showing presence in such continents as Europe, north and South America, Australia, Africa, and in wider Asia in such countries as china and South Korea. Toyota has wide and fast-selling markets in countries such as the U.S.A, china, south Korea, France, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.
